Logo Redesign + Strategy
As a fourteen year-old company, VMG Studio/520 needed to update it’s look to better reflect the modern, innovative work we created daily for our Fortune 500 clients. What first began as a business development and social media audit quickly turned into a complete brand redesign that I initiated; starting first with the simplification of it’s name to VMG Studios and it’s new logo. With a comprehensive look at competitors and industry trends, I spent 6 months iterating with our Senior Graphic Designer and CEO to maintain some key elements from the original logo as well as whimsical nature of our work. This video shows the drastic redesign of the logo at 90% completion.

Here is the new company slogan to match our whimsical creative and logo; we wanted to play with the notion that our creative literally jumps off the page and offers anything someone can imagine. We created numerous other treatments, all very different, as a way to creatively shift throughout the year.
